1. Overview
At MSP Travels – Maa Suna Pratima Travels, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which cancellations are accepted, refunds are processed, and exceptions apply.
By confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out in this policy. We encourage you to read this document carefully before making any payment.
💡 Our Commitment: We believe in fairness and transparency. If you have concerns about any specific clause, please reach out to our team before booking — we are happy to discuss your situation.

3. Non-Refundable Items
Regardless of the cancellation notice period, the following costs are strictly non-refundable once incurred:
- Flight tickets — airfare once booked and confirmed is subject to the airline's own cancellation policy. Any airline-issued credit or refund will be passed on to you minus any applicable airline fees.
- Visa & permit fees — government-issued travel permits or visa application fees.
- Pre-booked special darshan tickets — VIP darshan passes (e.g., Tirupati, Kedarnath) purchased in advance on your behalf.
- Non-refundable hotel advance deposits — some hotels and resorts require non-refundable advance payments, particularly during peak seasons (e.g., Char Dham Yatra season, Diwali, Christmas).
- Booking processing fee — a flat ₹200–₹500 administrative fee charged at the time of cancellation to cover processing costs.
4. How to Cancel Your Booking
To cancel your booking, please follow these steps:
2
Include your booking details. Mention your full name, registered mobile number, booking reference (if provided), tour name, and departure date.
3
Receive confirmation. Our team will acknowledge your cancellation request within 1 business day and confirm the applicable refund amount based on the cancellation date.
4
Provide bank details. Share your bank account details (account number, IFSC, and account holder name) for the refund transfer. Refunds are processed only to the account from which payment was originally made, wherever possible.
The cancellation date is the date on which we receive your written cancellation request — not the date of your enquiry or phone call.
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of cancellation confirmation.
- Refunds are transferred via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) or UPI to the account details provided.
- MSP Travels does not refund in cash for amounts exceeding ₹2,000.
- Any transaction charges levied by the bank for refund processing will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds will not be credited to third-party accounts. The refund will be made to the original payer only.
6. No-Show Policy
A "no-show" occurs when a traveller fails to appear at the designated pickup point at the scheduled departure time without prior cancellation notice.
- No-shows are treated as a cancellation with zero notice, and no refund will be provided.
- If a traveller misses the vehicle due to being late, MSP Travels is not obligated to arrange alternative transport or provide a refund.
- In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergency), please contact our team immediately. We will review the situation on a case-by-case basis, but no guarantee of refund is implied.
7. Cancellation by MSP Travels
In rare circumstances, MSP Travels may be required to cancel a tour. This may occur due to:
- Insufficient bookings to operate the tour viably.
- Unavailability of the vehicle due to unforeseen breakdown.
- Safety concerns related to road conditions, weather, or civil unrest.
- Government-mandated restrictions or temple closures.
If MSP Travels cancels a tour:
- You will be notified as early as possible — at least 48 hours before departure where feasible.
- You will be offered the choice of a full refund of all amounts paid, or a rebooking credit for a future tour of equal or greater value.
- MSP Travels' liability shall be limited to the refund of amounts paid. We are not liable for any consequential losses such as flight bookings, accommodation, or loss of leave.
8. Force Majeure & Natural Disasters
In the event of force majeure — including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, pandemics, government lockdowns, temple closures ordered by authorities, or acts of God — the following applies:
- MSP Travels will attempt to reschedule the tour to the earliest available date at no extra charge.
- If rescheduling is not feasible, a travel credit note valid for 12 months will be issued for the full amount paid.
- Cash refunds in force majeure situations will be considered only after recovering costs already incurred (hotel deposits, permits, etc.) and may be partial.
⚠️ Kedarnath & High-Altitude Routes: Pilgrimage routes such as Kedarnath are subject to sudden closure by the government due to extreme weather. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation. MSP Travels will not be liable for costs beyond our direct control.
9. Booking Amendments
If you wish to modify your booking rather than cancel it, the following applies:
- Date change: Date changes requested more than 14 days before departure are subject to availability and a ₹300 amendment fee per person. Changes within 14 days of departure are treated as cancellations and re-bookings.
- Name change: Traveller name changes are permitted up to 7 days before departure at a fee of ₹200 per name.
- Package upgrade: You may upgrade to a higher-value package at any time by paying the difference in price. No fees apply to upgrades.
- Adding travellers: Subject to seat availability. If seats are unavailable, MSP Travels will attempt to accommodate additional travellers on the next available batch.
